Alloyed titanium alloy (Alpha+Beta alloy)

• particularly corrosion resistant

More than 50 % of the titanium required worldwide is made of this alloy. The properties of the various product forms depend on the chemical composition and thermo-mechanical processing. In general, the alloy is used in the so-called "mill-annealed" state. In this state, the alloy has the best combination of strength, toughness and ductility. The alloy is hardenable, but only up to thicknesses of 25 mm.
